When you look at the camouflage, fur and fringe that dominate Prada’s fall collection, it can be difficult to remember that Prada is a label whose bread and butter is basic, somewhat conservative leather bags. With the Fall season coming, I’m looking for a new color palette. Rich plums, deep blues, subtle grays, and even forest green. This apple-ish green shade is a real surprise, but somehow it works! The Prada Vitello Shine Satchel follows the current trend of satchel styles with lots of “pop”. I’m not 100% if this piece is released in Singapore yet (or its price), but if you look closely you’ll see a beach scene printed on all sides of the tote.

Which reminds me of  Carey Mulligan’s Prada dress (the one she wore to Cannes) which also had a scenery print on it, and one of Miuccia Prada bags recurring themes this season.
