We first caught a glimpse of  Prada handbags knitted leather during the brand’s Fall/Winter 2010 runway show in March, and I’ve been hungrily awaiting their arrival at retail ever since. Well, they’re here! Almost. Prada bags has close-up pictures of a few styles and colors on its website, and these Prada Knitted Leather Clutches in particular do not disappoint.

Sadly, my favorite color combination isn’t pictured, but if you imagine the one on the right with red instead of tan, you get the idea. The main thing that I’m taking away from this first look, however, is that I’m surprised by how much I like the black version – you don’t lose as much of the sense of texture as I had assumed when the design is rendered in a single, dark color. I say a lot more negative things about Prada bags than I say positive, but I promise that I don’t have anything particular against the brand. In fact, my first “designer” bag was Prada handbags, and I still have fond memories of it.

They’ve been doing more wrong than right in most of their high-profile bags lately, but they still make some great stuff that doesn’t grab as many headlines. I got a chance to examine a bunch of their bags up close this weekend, and I was particularly taken with the classic lines and superb construction of the Prada Saffiano Soft Frame Clutch.

Actually, “particularly taken” would be an understatement of my feelings. I’m in love with it – deep, inconvenient, all-encompassing love that I didn’t expect to find for Prada bags. In my heart, that kind of love is usually reserved for Balenciaga or Valentino.

Please believe me when I say that the pictures don’t do this bag any sort of justice. I saw it in smooth black leather, which was ridiculously rich and perfect for this sort of oversized, take-anywhere, day-to-night clutch. It struck me as the sort of bag you’d look at and be able to tell that it was expensive, even if it had no logo. I’ll admit that it looks a bit boring in photos, but in your hand, it’s a great bag.

When I opened it up, I was even more pleased. The slightly retro, structured closure stands open to reveal a leather-lined interior with several pockets and enough space to hold more or less everything that you could put in a medium-sized shoulder bag. You probably wouldn’t want to fill it that full, but a little extra space in a clutch is never a bad thing.

Overall, I think I may have found the perfect clutch for me, and it was in one of the most unexpected places. Perhaps it was a cosmic reminder that in fashion, you should never count anyone out completely

Sophistication is what Prada bags is known for. Whether casual or formal bag designs, they always manage to bring sophisticated appeal to their each and every creation. And unsurprisingly, such is the case of this Prada Saffiano Soft Frame Clutch.

This prada handbag is just a simple and a very refined purse and it is very obvious with its smooth leather design and white and gold combination of colors. This clutch has no ornate designs, and the signature logo plaque on the front near the base and the gold-tone hardware on top already completes the totality of this clutch. Interesting enough, not only those gold-tone hardware acts as accent to this Prada clutch, since this also shapes its top when opened.

Opening the magnetic top closure would show the opening in hexagonal shape, giving this a more luxurious feel. It comes with a leather lining, and inside are zip and two open pockets for additional room to its 14½ x 9 x 3 inches dimension.

Of course, since this Prada purses is a luxury, the price also comes equally grand. It retails for a hefty $1,295, but you know it would be a worthy purchase.

I may have lost the will to write about Heidi Pratt, and I’m not the only one. Recently, E! Online ran a poll to see if its readers wanted them to cover Heidi and Spencer’s antics, and 94% of readers said no. We’re not going to stop covering them as long as she carries fabulous bags, but it seems like E’s writers feel the way that a lot of us do – that they’re slimy, loathsome creatures that need to be sent back to whatever swamp they crawled out of. They admitted as much by even putting it to a poll, and the results were overwhelming.

And I know it’s not nice to hate people, but if there are celebrities that I hate, it’s them. I think we all do. I certainly haven’t read anything nice about them in a while. We do often say nice things about Heidi’s handbags, though, and her Prada Python Print Clutch isn’t terrible, although I don’t think it’s dressy enough for such a glam outfit (notice the glittery Louboutins on her feet).

Lift your simple look into exotic glamour as you carry this Prada Lambskin Python Trimmed Convertible Clutch. It is indeed exotic but it still managed to show refinement and femininity, more so because of the bow detailing, which softens its exotic design.

Weighing in for $1,240, this Prada purses  is indeed a forever-chic piece so you know it would be worth your every penny.
